Web browser is a software application that allows you to visit and view resources on the Web.
An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), and may be a web page, image, video, web page, text, or other piece of content. Hyperlinks present in resources enable users easily to navigate their browsers to related resources.
A user employs a browser to locate a resource on the Web, and then retrieves the resource. Browsers are also used for a variety of other tasks, such as e-mail, text editing, document editing, and newsgroup posting.
